Calcite
Calcite comes in more colours than any other stone we stock: orange, honey, yellow, pink, emerald, pistachio, pineapple, orchid, purple and Caribbean blue. Most of it is sold as raw chunks and tumbles, with towers, points, palm stones, a moon dish and small carvings such as a yellow calcite turtle and a calcite leaf. It is a soft stone, easily scratched, so keep it away from harder crystals in a pocket. Orange calcite is the one people ask for by name, traditionally linked with creativity and warmth; blue calcite is the quiet one. Free pickup in Kaiapoi or NZ-wide courier.
