This Snowflake Obsidian raw chunk is a beautiful and substantial piece — Snowflake Obsidian's deep black base is scattered with white phenocryst formations that create the distinctive snowflake-like patterns the stone is named for. These white "snowflakes" appear as the obsidian crystallises, and their presence gives this variety of Obsidian a softer, more balanced energy than plain black Obsidian.
