This Snowflake Obsidian raw chunk is a beautiful and substantial piece — Snowflake Obsidian's deep black base is scattered with white phenocryst formations that create the distinctive snowflake-like patterns the stone is named for. These white "snowflakes" appear as the obsidian crystallises, and their presence gives this variety of Obsidian a softer, more balanced energy than plain black Obsidian. Snowflake Obsidian is said to bring balance, purity of thought, and help you recognise and release unhelpful patterns — all with greater gentleness than its plain black cousin. This raw chunk has wonderful natural character and presence.
